All phobias are a learned response to a stimulus in the envirionment and as such they can be ‘unlearned’ quickly,easily and painlessly with hypnotherapy.

Any phobia will produce a state of panic when the sufferer is confronted with the phobic object or situation. A wide variety of intense and uncomfortable physical symptoms are usually experienced. These symptoms are associated and controlled by the sympathetic nervous system (the flight or fight response) and can include ;

  • Nausea
  • Increased heart rate (tachycardia)
  • Tremors/shaking
  • Increase in perspiration
  • Numbness or tingling(paresthesias)
  • Feelings of unreality(derealisation)
  • Feeling short of breath
  • Chest pain or discomfort
